Winnipeg homicide victim named

The victim in Winnipeg's third homicide of 2012 has been identied as Walter Madonick.
A cause of death has not yet been determined, a police news release stated on Monday.
Madonick was found at about 4 a.m. Sunday when police were called to Simcoe Street and Wellington Avenue in the Daniel McIntyre neighbourhood.
A passerby saw him lying in the front yard of a house on the 600 block of Simcoe Street.
Madonick was taken to hospital in critical condition and later pronounced dead.
