Four more arrests in connection with murder of State Trooper - msnbc.com

KITSAP COUNTY -- Four more people have been arrested in connection with the murder of Washington State Patrol Trooper Tony Radulescu.

Late Friday night, the Kitsap County Sheriff's Office sent out a press release saying five people are now in custody for rendering assistance to Josh Blake after he shot and killed Trooper Radulescu.

Blake's girlfriend was initially taken into custody on the day of the shooting and appeared in court on Friday.

Since that arrest, detectives say, they continued to follow up on leads. On Friday afternoon, detectives interviewed numerous people who were present at the address where Blake abandoned his Ford pickup after shooting Trooper Radulescu.

Investigators say one of those people taken into custody is an 18-year-old South Kitsap woman who was determined to have been a passenger in Blake's truck when he shot and killed Trooper Radulescu.

She is being held at the Kitsap County Jail for Rendering Criminal Assistance. Her bail is set at $ 500,000.

A 30-year-old man, 26-year-old woman, and 37-year-old man were also taken into custody. They are all from the South Kitsap area.

All five people arrested are facing charges of rendering criminal assistance. Details of what they did have not yet been released.

One of the most important elements is the arrest of the 18-year-old passenger who was there at the time of the shooting. She may be able to give details about why Blake was pulled over and what led to the shooting death of Radulescu.
