PSL investigating Saturday homicide

PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. — A man was fatally shot in his Port St. Lucie home Saturday night.

Police report 43-year-old Aleksandr Gorbach was found about 7:30 p.m. Saturday on the kitchen floor at his home at 761 S.E. Portage Ave.

Gorbach had a gunshot wound to the upper torso. Police had been dispatched to the home with the report of an injured person.

"This particular investigation is not domestic related as the victim was targeted," according to a news release from Port St. Lucie Police.

Detectives are working with other law enforcement agencies on the ongoing investigation into Gorbach's death.
