Homicide victim found in Grant County, Wash.

MATTAWA, Wash. —

The Grant County sheriff's office says detectives are investigating an apparent homicide about three miles southwest of Mattawa in central Washington.

The sheriff's office says a hunter found the body Tuesday morning north of a fish and wildlife access area near the Columbia River. The gender of the victim was not immediately determined.
