Homicide suspects indicted by grand jury

Suspects in several headline-making cases were indicted by a Pitt County grand jury on Monday.

Willie O'Dell Whitehead Jr., 24, of 101 Devonshire Drive, Pinetops, was indicted on two counts of solicitation to commit first-degree murder and two counts of solicitation to commit first-degree kidnapping.
