Five dead after arson-homicide in Denver bar

CHICAGO (MarketWatch) -- Five people were found dead following a fire in a Denver bar early Wednesday in an apparent arson-homicide, the Associated Press reports. Firefighters recovered the bodies of four women and one man after extinguishing the blaze at Fero's Bar & Grill but police say it is likely the fire was set in an attempt to cover up their murders. "The business has obviously been set on fire, an arson, I'm guessing, to mask the murder that occurred inside," police Commander Ronald Saunier told the wire service. "There is just . . . enough information to believe that we have a murder that occurred here. They didn't perish in the fire."
