Homicide suspect in custody after 60-year-old woman found dead this morning

The homicide victim is an approximately 60-year-old woman who is believed to live at the residence.
One suspect is currently in custody and no other suspects are currently believed to be outstanding.
On Friday, April 20, at approximately 6:15 a.m., the Paso Robles Police Department responded to a residence along the 900 block of Olive Street.
Police received a phone call from neighbors reporting a peace disturbance involving breaking glass and arguing.
Upon arrival, officers contacted a white female adult, approximately 35, sitting outside the house. Inside the home, officers located the deceased female resident. The two women are believed to be related.
The incident does not appear to be gang related, police have determined. The circumstances surrounding the incident are currently under investigation and the PRPD will release further details as they become available.
"We are still actively investigating, and as for the victim and suspect, we have not released any information," said Lieutenant Ty Lewis.
