Officer Jay Rivera said investigators were "still trying to figure out exactly what it is that happened there."
Although the incident initially appeared to be a home invasion, Rivera said officers were trying to determine the relationship between the victim and the suspect, indicating a domestic dispute could be involved.
No other information about the incident was available.
