Homicide victim w/ stab wounds found near Beverly Center

  

A homicide investigation is under way after a man with multiple stab wounds was found near the Beverly Center.

Los Angeles police detectives found the man lying in the street in the 300 block of North Orlando Avenue early Saturday morning. Authorities initially thought the man was injured in a car crash but soon found several stab wounds.

The victim's name was not immediately released but police say he's between 20 and 30 years old.

Several streets in the area were closed as police continued their investigation.
