HENRICO COUNTY - Police are investigating a homicide at the Essex Village Apartments on Engleside Drive, after neighbors found a man dead early Wednesday morning.

Officers were called to the apartments around 4:00 a.m. for reports of shots fired. Investigators combed the scene for evidence of a shooting, and that's when police tell us the victim's body was discovered by residents in the 100 block of Engleside Drive. 

Investigators have not yet identified the adult male victim, or determined how he died. The investigation is still in the early stages, and no arrests have been made yet.
