Homicide raps readies vs 3 suspects

HOMICIDE charges are now being readied against the three suspects who killed a scrap iron gatherer at Barangay Taculing, this city on Tuesday.

Police Station 6 commander Noel Polines said on Wednesday they are now preparing all the documents for the filling of homicide charges against Neko Mangubat, 25, and his cousin Jessie Mangubat, 32, and Joseph Arsenio, 42, all residents of Purok Masagana, Barangay Taculing.

Chief Inspector Polines said the three suspects voluntarily surrendered at the Bacolod City Police Office Tuesday afternoon after they killed Ebenzer Las Prillas, 53, a native of Davao City and temporarily staying at Barangay Taculing.

Las Prillas sustained multiple stab wounds in different parts of his body, Polines added.

The suspects are now detained at the lock up cell of Police Station 6. (MAP)
