Essex DA: Murder of woman in Lynn in 2007 has been solved with arrest of Joshua Rivera - Boston Globe
Essex County authorities said today they have solved the murder of Lara Rizzo, a Lynn woman who died on Aug. 26, 2007, in the North Shore city.
In a brief announcement, Essex District Attorney Jonathan Blodgett’s office said Joshua Rivera is now in custody and will arraigned in Lynn District Court today on a charge of first degree murder.
Authorities identified Rizzo as the person whom they allege Rivera murdered, but the circumstances of the crime were not immediately available.
More information is expected to be made public when Rivera appears in court.
