Lompoc- Authorities are looking for suspects after finding a homicide victim late Wednesday night.

Deputies tell KEY News, that just before ten Wednesday night 9-1-1 dispatchers received a suspicious call. After receiving the call they sent local law enforcement to the 1700 block of Calle Lindero in Lompoc.

That's when deputies say they discovered a crime had taken place.

"Are units got on scene, and found a distraught elderly woman inside the house and a decedent...we are treating it as suspicious at this point.", said Lt. Brad McVay with the Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Department.

Law enforcement spent the next several hours looking for a suspect. They even brought out canines and air-support to look at the surrounding wilderness areas.

At this point they are treating it as a homicide and as of early Thursday morning no suspect had been taken into custody.
