Homicide victim missing since May identified as woman, 20

The body of a murder victim found in the woods in Pasadena last week was identified Friday as that of Jessica Lynn Lee, 20, of Brooklyn Park, who had been missing since May, Anne Arundel County police said Friday.

Identification was done by county police through DNA testing in its crime lab, and the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner had already ruled the death a murder due to what police are describing as upper body trauma.

Flyers about Lee's disappearance went out in mid-May, after police were told May 13 by her family that she'd been missing since May 8, according to spokesman Justin Mulcahy.

She had last been seen at a Shoppers Food Warehouse in the 5700 block of Ritchie Highway in Brooklyn Park. Police are asking anyone with information to call Detective Regina Collier, 410-222-3417.
