FLINT, MI -- Police say a homicide suspect who escaped from a counseling center on Friday is still on the loose.

Mark A. Jones, 16, was being transported by guards from the Genesee Valley Regional Center, a juvenile detention facility, to New Passages Psychological Services on Corunna Road when he escaped.

Jones is charged with murder in the death of 73-year-old Merlyne Wray, who was killed in November 2010 her home on Leland Street near Fenton and Atherton roads. Jones was the youngest person Genesee County Prosecutor David Leyton ever charged with murder

Police were originally looking in the area of Bradley Avenue and Gibson Street, but he was not located.
