Man dead in apparent St. Paul murder

ST. PAUL, Minn. - Homicide detectives are investigating the death of a man who was discovered on his porch in St. Paul early Monday.

Police were called to the home on the 700 block of Lawson Avenue East around 1:40 a.m. There, they found the 38-year-old homeowner dead on his front porch.

St. Paul Police spokesman Howie Padilla held a press conference for reporters but did not share any information on what may have caused the man's death, or whether they have any leads on who or why the man may have been killed.
