Homicide Conviction for Justice Sims

SPOKANE COUNTY, Wash. - Justice E. Sims, 19, was sentenced Friday for the April, 2011 murder of 23 year old Nicholas Thoreson. 

Detective Tim Hines investigated the murder. Sims pled guilty to 1st Degree Murder and 1st Degree Kidnapping. 

Thoreson was shot to death, then packed into the trunk of a car and set on fire.

Sims was sentenced to over 33 years in prison.
