Homicide investigated on Manitoba First Nation

A woman was found dead last night on a Manitoba reserve.

RCMP were called to a house in the community of Dauphin River First Nation just after 6 p.m.

Police say the death is being treated as a homicide.

The woman's name and age have not been released to the public.

An autopsy will be done in Winnipeg.

The community is located at the junction of the Dauphin River and Lake Winnipeg, about 250 kilometres northwest of Winnipeg.
