Autopsy scheduled Tuesday in Raymond homicide
Police responded to 14 Floral Ave. around 6:10 p.m. in response to a 911 call reporting a deceased man at the address.
One neighbor said a police car was stationed outside the home overnight, and the N.H. State Police Major Crimes Unit arrived on scene Monday morning and remained on scene throughout the day.
Floral Avenue, which runs almost parallel to Epping Street behind Town Hall, was also closed throughout the day, and yellow crime-scene tape surrounded the two-story wooden home near the end of the dead-end street.
Late Monday morning, senior assistant attorney general Susan Morrell said major crimes had been investigating since Sunday night.
She said the investigation is active and open, but she did not have anything else to add. She also would not comment on the manner of death.
She said an autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday morning and could take most of the day. She said as soon as authorities have results, they will likely release them.
She would not comment on any arrests, but she said there is no reason to believe the public is in any danger.
"There is no reason to believe there is any specific danger to the public, although there has been a homicide and people take ordinary precautions," Morrell said.
She said Raymond police are working closely with N.H. State Police Major Crimes Unit on the investigation.
Raymond Police Chief David Salois directed all questions to the Attorney General's Office.
According to court records, Dickinson and his wife, Malissa, jointly filed for divorce earlier this year.
Malissa listed her address as 14 Epping St. in court paperwork, although the property owner said she is not listed as a tenant in the seven-unit building. Police were seen at that address Monday as well, ! although it was not cordoned off.
