Man charged with vehicular homicide in woman's death

A 25-year-old man has been charged with drunken driving, two counts of vehicular homicide, and five other charges linked to an early-morning crash that killed a 21-year-old woman.

Viet Quoc Nguyen is charged with vehicular homicide reckless driving, vehicular homicide drunken driving, hit and run and causing a traffic accident without giving aid.

Other charges filed against Nguyen include driving while his license was under restraint, failure to give aid and disobeying a red light, according to court documents. Nguyen's license was revoked for an alcohol driving offense.

Jenna Breen, 21, was killed in the accident. Breen, 21, was returning from her job as a server at the Fox and Hound in Westminster.

Nguyen was allegedly behind the wheel of a Porsche Cayenne that ran the red light at West 118th Avenue, crashing into Breen's car at 3:30 a.m. Saturday.

Judge Byron L. Howell set bond at $ 250,000.
