A man found dead in his Abbotsford home has been identified, but his cause of death has not yet been released.

Ryan Saint-Ange, 21, was discovered by his friend just after midnight on Saturday in a house in the 27000 block of 56th Avenue.

The death does not appear to be linked to gangs, RCMP Sgt. Jennifer Pound told CBC News on Sunday.

"The male appeared to have met with foul play and the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team is currently processing the scene," said Pound.

An autopsy is scheduled for this week to confirm Saint-Ange's cause of death.

Several people live in the home where Saint-Ange was found, Pound added.
