Homicide victim stabbed multiple times

SOUTH BEND -- An autopsy completed on a 42-year-old woman who was found killed in her St. James Court Apartment early Wednesday morning confirmed her manner of death as a homicide.
Deshone Caradine, of the 100 block of North Eddy Street, died from multiple stab wounds, according to a news release.
The woman's 18-year-old son reportedly made the discovery about 3:30 a.m. and called police.
The woman's car was stolen and found later in the day abandoned in Chicago. Blood was reportedly visible on the steering wheel and other parts inside the vehicle, police said.
The St. Joseph County Metro Homicide Unit continues to investigate the homicide. No one was in custody as of Thursday afternoon.
