MINNEAPOLIS -- Minneapolis police are investigating the city's 16th homicide of the year.

Authorities were called to a shooting just before 5 p.m. Saturday in the 1700 block of Glenwood Avenue.  They arrived to find a woman dead inside a home from an apparent gunshot wound.

So far, no arrests have been made but police don't believe there's a public safety threat.

Anyone with information is asked to call Minneapolis Police Department Tip Line at 612-692-TIPS (8477).
