Houston homicide investigator wins big on 'Jeopardy'
A Houston Police Department homicide investigator took a break from solving murders to win big bucks on an episode of the "Jeopardy" TV game show.
Sgt. Michael McStravick took home first place on Thursday's episode, HPD officials confirmed.
McStravick correctly answered the Final Jeopardy clue, "The most famous resident of the National Museum of Ethiopia is the very old young lady named this," according to the website Fikkle Fame.
The answer: Lucy, the name given to the bones of what is believed to be the world's earliest human ancestor. The Final Jeopardy win brought McStravick to a grand total of $ 20,800.
Unfortunately, McStravick wasn't able to begin a winning streak, losing by only a few hundred dollars on Friday's episode.
