LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - Little Rock Attorney Bill James, Jr. speaks to Today's THV about his client, Little Rock Police Officer Josh Hastings.

On Friday, Pulaski County prosecutors charged Hastings with manslaughter in the death of 15-year-old Bobby Moore. The shooting happened on August 12 at the Shadow Lake Apartments in Little Rock. At the time, Hastings was responding to a reported car break-in call.

On Monday, attorneys representing Hastings entered a 'not guilty' plea in court on the officer's behalf.

In our interview with James, he tells Today's THV that Hastings felt threatened at the time of the incident and fired at the car-break-in suspects to protect himself.

Little Rock Police Chief Stuart Thomas said Friday the investigation into this case revealed the case didn't happen in the way Hastings described.

THV's Max Seigle will have details of the interview and investigation on this story on "The THV 10:00 Difference".

Ezra Levant on the CBC's Shafia apologies

"So if Marc Lepine had lived to stand trial...Would the CBC have chatted outside the courtroom with a "men's rights" activist, (whose salary is paid for by tax dollars) who insisted there was nothing special about the Montreal Massacre, Muslims shot up classrooms full of women all the time, Canada was plagued by feminist matriarchy and besides, we should change the word from "manslaughter" because it has the word "man" in it?" "Would the CBC have asked Canadians if "they agreed with the verdict" of life without parole for 25 years?" - Kathy Shaidle "Looking forward to the Shafia verdict in upcoming Little Mosque episode" - Kate McMillan
