OTTAWA, Sept. 19 (UPI) -- Police in Ottawa say a suspect in three Quebec murders and arson has been spotted in the Canadian capital city and warned he's armed and dangerous.

Late Tuesday, Ottawa police said 35-year-old Justin Bresaw had been seen in the city and cautioned civilians against approaching him, the Ottawa Sun reported.

Monday afternoon, a house in Amos, Quebec, was completely destroyed by fire and three bodies were found in the debris. The town is about 300 miles north of Montreal.

Quebec provincial police said Bresaw was seen near the house in Amos before the fire was reported.

It wasn't clear if the three unidentified victims were killed before the fire or during the blaze, the Canadian Broadcasting Corp. said.

Police said Bresaw may be driving a stolen 2001 blue Honda Civic with Quebec license plate 788 JNC.
