INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - The family of a man who was killed in January is offering a reward for information that could lead to an arrest in the case.

Detectives announced Wednesday that the family of Ousmane Goudiaby has offered an additional $ 1,000 reward for any information that could lead to an arrest and conviction of the suspects involved.

30-year-old Ousmane Goudiaby was shot and killed on Jan. 27 in a business on the 2700 block of Westlane Road.

His older brother says that someone has information about his death and should come forward.

"The police have a tip already and I'm ready to put up another $ 1,000 on it," said Mamadou Guodiaby, Ousmane's older brother. "Today I'm crying. My heart is bleeding. Tomorrow it's going to be somebody else. We have to stop these people. Until we stop them it's going to be somebody else. Someone has to say something."

Goudiaby moved to America from Africa in 2008 and was obtaining a second college degree.

He was working part-time at the business when he was killed.

His brother says the money he made from that job went back to Africa to help other family members get an education.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 317-262-TIPS (8477).
