Chicago homicide suspect caught in Memphis

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) — U.S. Marshals have captured a Chicago homicide suspect in Memphis.

According to the agency, Eddie Jackson was arrested without incident Thursday.

Jackson was wanted for the fatal stabbing of Marlon Vaughn on a Chicago street Jan. 22. Police said Jackson's toddler son was with him when the stabbing occurred.

A U.S. Marshal's task force determined Jackson was in the Memphis area and he was located after surveillance.

Jackson is held in the Shelby County Jail, awaiting extradition to Chicago.
