LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – Louisville Metro Police are investigating the second homicide case of the day after a man was found dead in his Dosker Manor apartment.

Officers were called to 413 E. Muhammad Ali Blvd. just after 7 p.m.

"We received a call from a relative who said that a white male believed to be in his 60's was down inside of his residence," said LMPS Spokesperson Alicia Smiley.

Paramedics were then called to the sixth floor residence of that man. It wasn't long until crews called the homicide unit out to investigate.

"Although we do not have an exact cause of death, we do know there was foul play involved. At this point we do not have any suspects," Smiley said.

Investigators aren't saying how the person died or how long he had been dead when he was discovered inside his unit at the senior living complex.

"There was trauma to the body. Specifically what parts of the body I do not know, but our detectives have determined there was some type of trauma that occurred," Smiley said.

The name of the victim has not been released.

Anyone with information is asked to call the LMPD Crime Tip Line at 574-LMPD (5673).
