Sheet Harbour manslaughter victim identified

The RCMP have released the name of one of the men killed in a double manslaughter in Sheet Harbour last week.

The bodies were discovered after witnesses reported seeing a fire at a building that was a cottage or a hunting camp.

The body of Mattew Allan Hebb, 22, was found in the rubble. Hebb lived on Herring Cove Road in Halifax. A 59-year-old man was also found dead.

Police have not said how the two men died, but police believe they were in the area to get Christmas trees.

Police took a man and a woman into custody Tuesday in connection with the double manslaughter but they were released Wednesday morning without charges. After their release, police continued to call them "subjects of interest."
