Calgary police lay charges in 2010 homicide

Calgary police have charged a man with second-degree murder in a 2010 homicide.

It's been more than two years since the body of Anto Slisko was found in an empty house on Panatella View northwest.

The 58-year-old was hired as a painter, and he was working in the newly-built home where he was found.

A 48-year-old man was arrested in Vancouver on Thursday.

"The motive is a disagreement between two aquaintances that escalated into a violent confrontation," said Staff Sgt. Doug Andrus.

An autopsy showed Slisko died of blunt force trauma.
