ONTARIO - Police are investigating a triple homicide that occurred early Monday in the 1000 block of South Magnolia Avenue.
Detectives are not sure if the three men are "suspects or acquaintances," according to an Ontario police news release.

Inside the back residence, officers discovered two more dead men with gunshot wounds.
None of men have been identified, pending notification of their next-of-kin.
Detectives were expected to work through the night processing the crime scene for evidence, Sgt. David McBride said.
A resident, who asked to remain anonymous, said that there have been problems for months at the house.
"There has been lots of activity at the house," the resident said. "People leaving and people coming."
The resident said she thinks the "Mexican Mafia may have been involved. They are very active in the neighborhood."
The block on which the deaths occurred is lined with single-family houses, some of which have second houses in the rear.
Some residents heard the shooting early Monday.
"I heard the gunshots just before 2 a.m.," another neighbor said.
The neighbor said that the Mexican Mafia runs rampant through the area.
"They do their drug deals out in plain sight," the neighbor said. "You can tell who they are because of that black hand tattooed on their neck."
McBride said detectives were unsure if the killings were gang-related.
In August, authorities arrested several members of the Mexican Mafia prison gang and La Familia Michoacana, a Mexican drug cartel, in the Inland Empire and the San Gabriel Valley. During the bust, seven Ontario residents were arrested and a drug stash house was found in the 900 block of Nocta Street in Ontario. The Nocta house is about three miles away from the Magnolia location.
Names and additional details related to the men killed Monday have not been released by police.
