Police investigating triple homicide in Ontario
Ontario police Monday were investigating an early morning triple homicide that left one victim lying in a driveway with fatal gunshot wounds, authorities said.
Police responded to the home in the 1000 block of South Magnolia Avenue at 6:15 a.m. after receiving a report of a man lying in front of the Ontario home. When officers arrived, they entered the rear of the home and found two dead men inside. Their causes of death have yet to be determined.
None of the men have been identified, said department spokesman Sgt. David McBride.
Detectives on the scene are still working to piece together what happened, including whether an assailant killed all three or if the deaths were a murder-suicide, he said.
"The detectives have been working this thing since early this morning trying to determine a motive," McBride said. "It's still an ongoing investigation at this point."
