Swansea woman’s death a homicide, according to district attorney
The death of a woman, whose body was found in her Swansea home early Saturday morning, was called âœsuspiciousâ today by the Bristol County district attorneyâ™s office.
The cause of death was unclear pending the results of toxicology tests due in four to eight weeks, according to a statement from the office of Bristol County District Attorney Office C. Samuel Sutter.
A family member found the body of Lisa Mello, 51, in her home at 500 Ocean Grove Ave. and called police around 5:35 a.m. Saturday, according to the district attorneyâ™s office.
