The bodies of two men were found tonight in Calumet City after police were called to a report of a suspicious car.

According to very preliminary details provided by Police Chief Edward Gilmore, police were called about 6 p.m. after a resident noticed a suspicious vehicle in the alley on the 1500 block of Wentworth Avenue in the south suburb.

Police found the bodies of two men, possibly in their early 30s, and have begun a death investigation, Gilmore said it is possible the deaths are homicides, but he again cautioned that it was very early in the investigation.

The deaths apparently involve gunshot wounds, police said, but the Cook County medical examiner's office had no information early Wednesday night.
