Wisconsin homicide suspect arrested in Sumner County
A man wanted in Wisconsin for attempted murder was taken into custody in Sumner County on Thursday afternoon.
Ryan King was initially pulled over by authorities on Interstate 65 South near mile marker 98 for a traffic violation around 2:30 p.m.
Authorities reported the 45-year-old driver had an injury to his hand and appeared to have blood on his clothing.
As investigators were completing their investigation, a "be on the lookout" call was broadcast on police radio.
It was quickly determined King was the man wanted by authorities in the alert for questioning in Wisconsin.
King was taken into custody without incident.
Authorities also discovered a firearm inside King's vehicle.
He was booked into the Sumner County jail.
Bond for King was not immediately set. He is expected to be extradited to Wisconsin.
