Police say 25-year-old Raymond Mayrant of Queens was captured Friday in Warren, Ohio. He was charged with second-degree murder, second-degree attempted murder and criminal possession of a weapon.

Police say Mayrant killed Elzina Brown on Jan. 3. Authorities say he also shot and injured his girlfriend, Brown's 22-year-old daughter.
